About

A short story writer based in Seattle, WA.
Originally from the east coast I've made the west coast my home for the past two decades. In this way, I am what you could safely call bi-coastal.

I am an English instructor at North Seattle College and Highline College, and formerly a senior submissions reader for New England Review.

You can also find me teaching classes every so often at Hugo House.
In recent years, I've been the recipient of a fellowship from the Jack Straw Cultural Center, nominated for Best of the Net, and a finalist in fiction contests from Black Lawrence Press, Fractured Lit, december, and The Missouri Review.
